Dr. Rachele Gillespie combines clinical excellence with a warm, empathetic approach, always striving to ensure her patients feel valued, understood, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Gillespie is deeply committed to providing a comfortable and positive experience for each of her patients. Whether you are coming in for a routine cleaning or a more complex procedure, she takes the time to understand your needs, answer your questions, and ensure you feel fully at ease. Dr. Gillespie began her academic journey at Virginia Tech, where she graduated first in her class with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Driven by a love of learning and helping others, she went on to complete a Master of Education at Radford University. She taught high school chemistry and mathematics in Chesterfield County before her long-standing interest in health care and helping people in a more hands-on way led her to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, followed by advanced training in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency Program at VCU. Through this rigorous program, Dr. Gillespie deepened her skills in comprehensive dental care, patient-centered treatment planning, and advanced procedures. A lifelong learner and natural researcher, Dr. Gillespie is constantly staying up to date with continuing dental education in the latest, safest, and most effective dental treatments in order to provide the highest quality care for you and your family. With her experience and passion for education, she equips her patients with the knowledge they need to care for their oral health and empowers them to make confident, informed decisions about their dental treatment. When she’s not caring for her patients, Dr. Gillespie enjoys spending time with her friends and family around Virginia. She and her husband are proud parents to a baby boy, and they love exploring the outdoors, trying new local restaurants, and enjoying all that the Richmond area has to offer.
